The role
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Purchasing Team Leader to join the Winc Purchasing Team. This role will see you delivering high quality customer service to Winc customers and providing exceptional leadership to the wider Purchasing Team.
What you will be responsible for
- Provide leadership & support to Purchasing Officers/Specialists
- Responsible for ensuring the MRP process functions effectively, with data flowing correctly from the Demand Planning and Inventory Planning teams
- Maintain Winc target of 98.5% line fill ratio
- Manage working capital to budgeted inventory turns
- Manage excess and slow-moving stocks to expected levels
- Participation in SRM program to drive improvement in supplier SIFOT performance
- Develop relationships with supplier's operational teams for efficiency improvements in the wider end to end supply chain
- Maintain KPI dashboard for visibility & management of team performance and sharing within the wider Winc team
- Ensure timely and effective communication/feedback with the wider Winc team on potential customer service or working capital management issues
- Ensure all team members have clearly defined and measurable individual objectives and that all team members have a PPR in place
- Continuously review and improve processes balancing cost versus service
What you will already have....
Essential
- A customer service focus, both internal and external
- Proven ability in managing a team and delivering results
- Excellent communication skills
- Influencing skills and ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams
- SAP ERP experience
Preferred
- Minimum 5 years Supply Chain experience
- Experience leading a purchasing team in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
- Continuous improvement focus and demonstrated ability to improve business processes
- MPR experience
