  • Part-time opportunity (either mornings or afternoons Monday to Friday)
  • Sell our devine Australian made French style breads and pastries

Customer Service Representative

At Bakers Maison we are proud of our success and are passionate about our brand and quality products we produce.  Our authentic Australian made French style breads and pastries are made locally for food service clients comprising of cafes, restaurants, hotels, food caterers, airlines, convenience stores and eateries.

We have a brand new and exciting opportunity for a motivated Customer Service Representative to make their mark at Bakers Maison.  This interesting and varied role will see you undertaking a number of duties including:

  • Being responsible for all operational aspects of the retail store including organizing displays, managing stock and cash reconciliation
  • Driving store sales through exceptional customer service
  • Greeting customers and visitors to the premises, maintaining an inviting store environment
  • Liaising with the Sales and Marketing Administrator on customer quotes, implementing store loyalty programs and preparing product samples 
  • Preparing food items to complement Bakers Maison bread ranges 
  • Processing orders received via the internet and telephone
  • Ad hoc administration

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years of retail sales or customer service experience
  • Available to work Monday to Friday either 7.00am to 11.30am or 11.30am to 4.00pm
  • Excellent customer relation and inter-personal skills
  • Experience using an electronic point of sale system and managing stock
  • Basic to intermediate computer literacy (email, MS packages, internet)
  • Numeracy and writing skills
  • Ability to lift up to 10kg (stock)
  • Food safety supervisor certificate
  • Valid National Police check
