NQ Water Services is a locally owned and operated pumping, irrigation and filtration business, servicing Central and Northern Queensland through branches located in Mackay and Cannonvale.
We require an experienced and astute Salesperson for our retail outlet, with the option of part-time or full-time status. Key aspects of the role include:

About the Role
Servicing retail and trade customers, the Salesperson function is a critical 'front line' role within the organisation. As such, the focus is firmly on expertise and professionalism.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Technical assessment and troubleshooting
- Water testing and product recommendation
- Build lasting relationships with customers and identify opportunities for new business
- Stock control and visual merchandising
- Liaise with suppliers and support personnel
- Compliance with internal controls and processes
Skills & Experience

Recent record of successful performance in a sales-based role is essential

A sound technical knowledge of pumps, pools and irrigation equipment is desirable

A background in the industrial and/or hardware industry would be advantageous

Must be reliable, well presented and possess excellent communication skills

Proven competency with the use of computerised POS and ERP systems
