About the role
Guitar Station is a rapidly growing guitar store in South Yarra, and we're looking to add some superstars to the team in both sales and repair/servicing roles.
About the sales roles
Some key tasks you'd be performing:
- Face to face customer service with guitarists of all ages and abilities.
- Keeping the store presentable and functional at all times.
- Basic online tasks including uploading information to the Guitar Station website.
- Input into advertising campaigns, with opportunities to co-ordinate marketing efforts depending on skills and experience.
- Casual, Part-Time and Full Time opportunities available for the right candidates.
About the repair/service role
Some key tasks you'd be performing:
- Performing a range of repair and set-up/service tasks for walk-in customers.
- Maintaining the Guitar Station collection, keeping our guitars in top condition.
- Some warranty repair tasks.
- Casual and Part-Time opportunities available for the right candidates.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- A friendly positive demeanour.
- 21st century computer skills (for the sales role) are mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of guitars - In particular instruments from Fender Gretsch and Martin.
- Motivated to succeed - Self-starters who are effective independently and in a team environment.
- Communication, negotiation and sales skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
- Advanced creative skills in regard to photography, graphic design, web development and video editing will be highly regarded.
