About the role:
An exciting and brand new role has opened up for a factory hand/production assistant to join their store located in Kilsyth.
Due to this being a brand new role our client is looking for either an experienced Store Manager or Assistant Manager who is looking for a new career and wanting to grow within a business that is offering a great working environment and Monday to Friday roster!
This position is fast paced and involved in all aspects of printing and cutting of various medias from the preparation of production files through to logistics. To be successful in this role you will be good with numbers; experienced in measuring, computer sazzy and have the highest level of communication skills. As this role is in a factory you will be physically fit and organised making sure the factory is set at its working standards at all time.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Print finishing processes including laminating and cutting
- Checking off cut film & packing for installation/supply
- Taking delivery & putting away all incoming stock
- Maintaining the factory in a tidy and organised manner
Skills and experiences required in the role:
- History of management within the retail sector
- Organised candidate who has great time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy skills
- Leading and approachable person to build trust with your team
- Ability to lift heavy when required around the factory
- Ability to organising deliveries within timeframes
- Ability to cut and measure film and laminating
- Help out with minor installations when needed
- Current drivers license
- A want to change your career into a industry that is requiring no skills just dedication and hard work attitude to grow!
Not essential as training will be provided:
- Current fork lift licence
- Self-confident knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- Basic art design skills
- Prepress & RIP software experience
