This role involves, among other things, interacting with customers, retail sales, problem solving and offering constructive advice on pool chemistry and associated pool related topics. We also stock a diverse range of home decor products and gift lines, so some merchandising is required.
This position is suited to a mature person with a positive outlook and an interest in learning new tasks. This role involves using the computerised water testing facility and assisting customers with the analysis, and sales of chemicals and associated pool equipment. On the job ongoing training is provided.
You need to possess the ability to learn new tasks quickly and pay attention to small details.Computer skills, common sense, and basic admin skills are necessary. You must be focused, organised, possess a bright positive attitude and have a pleasant phone manner. You need the ability to create a professional relationship with our clients.
You would be required to be available from at least 3 days per week, including Saturdays, depending on the season. Holidays are to be taken in the off season.
Bayside Poolmart has 2 stores in Cleveland and Victoria Point which have been operating for 17 years. It is a local family owned business.
