Fancy being an Interior Consultant?
DCB is currently looking for part-time and full-time Interior Consultants in the eastern suburbs, who can assist in our showroom and conduct in-home Sales appointments that involve authentic selling, measuring and quoting interactions with our Customers by providing innovative and creative solutions throughout their decision-making journey.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist DCB Customers in their evaluation and information gathering by providing them with meaningful, stylish and creative solutions for all of their decorative and soft furnishings needs
- Conduct Sales consultations in Showrooms, at Customer homes and at commercial sites which involve measuring and technical skills
- Providing outstanding Customer Service to our Customers throughout their decision making journey and during their post-purchase experience
- Assist in brand perception and repeat exposure by interacting, understanding and connecting with the Customer by delivering thoughtful and meaningful interactions and experiences
- Reaching team Sales targets by providing impeccable Customer Service and follow up on all Sales leads
- Maintain Showroom samples, displays and stock
If you have got what it takes, we train you to do the rest!
- A background in window furnishings and/or measuring/quoting experience is advantageous
- Previous Sales experience and ability to follow up and close leads
- A current and valid drivers licence, along with reliable transport is essential
- Computer literacy
- Outstanding interpersonal and communicative skills
- Great accuracy and attention to detail is essential
- Professional presentation, attitude and demeanour
- Ability to work weekends
