Our client is a well-established retailer of a huge range of mattresses and bedroom furniture and is looking for a Showroom Sales representative to join their Illawarra based branch.
This is a full time, permanent position and is available for an immediate start (will wait for notice periods as required).
Position Overview:-
You will be a key part of our friendly and professional team and responsible for the sales of mattresses and bedroom furniture to walk-in customers.
You will be working on a rotating roster which will include most weekends – both Saturday and Sunday (or all if preferred).
Your main responsibilities and duties will include:-
- Retail Sales – training will be provided
- Selling to customers
- Answering phones
- Using computer system
- General customer service and sales duties
Your experience, skill set and qualifications will include:-
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good computing skills (MS Office Basic / Intermediate)
- Dependable and reliable
- Retail experience
- Experience in a similar showroom based position well regarded but not required
- Ability to speak to customers with a friendly approach
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Full Driver’s license preferred but not required
