Our client is perhaps best described as a quiet but successful achiever in a key segment of the Australian retail market place.
With 400 plus stores across the nation, they still see room to “grow” another 200 stores over the next few years.
The Position is based in Melbourne and will lead a team of State and Regional managers as well as a marketing and communications Manager that is also heads a small department. In summary the role is about ALL THINGS CUSTOMER - building better customer communications, creating, and implementing effective marketing and promotional strategies which will drive customer traffic - both on-line and in-store. At the same time driving store performance through retail excellence across service, merchandising, process & procedure will further increase the quality of customer experience and lead to growth in market share.
You will be able to a demonstrate a record of achievement in a similar role (200 stores plus) where you were able to influence and work with State managers and stores to obtain retail operational excellence through continuous improvement in KPI’s, customer standards, systems, and policies. Ideally you will have also been responsible for marketing and E-commerce (or worked closely with). You will be a strong communicator, have an eye for detail, be analytical, and inspirational in your approach.
Tertiary qualifications are preferred, as is a high work ethic, the ability to solve problems and the desire to make a real difference.
