Our client is a major expanding retailer in the apparel and consumer goods categories.
An opportunity has arisen for a Business/Commercial Analyst to join the team. This is a key strategic position responsible for planning, analysis and identification of commercial strategy and insights.
- Retail experience in planning or in an analyst role is essential
This key role sits at the senior management level and is responsible for partnering with the heads of business to deliver commercial insights that allow the business to make key strategic decisions in relation to product, margin and customer analysis
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ability to analyse the business operations including high level planning and analysis of OTB, planning and analysis of stock turn, competitor analysis, inventory analysis, profit improvement,
- Bench-marking of product quality and operations
- Responsible for delivery of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders.
This role is a key liaison role where you will present to senior management and business leaders a variety of analysis reporting and trend and variance analysis to enable the business to maximize sales and profitability
