Paint Sales Assistant
Inspirations Paint is Australia's leading Paint Specialists Franchise with over 100 stores Australia-wide.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic new starter on a casual basis, to be able to work at our Ballina and Tweed Heads stores. They will be an integral part of our sales team at both stores and will have the benefit of working with a wide range of customers.
This position primarily involves a high level of interaction with both "Trade" and "Retail" consumers by supplying the leading paint brands in the marketplace.
We are offering an average of 25 - 30 hours per week plus holiday relief which could require you to work up to 38 hours.
Responsibilities Include
- Tinting and mixing of paint
- Colour consultancy
- Colour matching
- Product specifications
- Sales processing
- Stock control and inventory maintenance
- Store presentation, merchandising and housekeeping
The successful applicant must display a willingness to learn new skills, have a strong work ethic, be able to contribute to a happy work environment at both stores.
Our employees must be problem solvers with an ability to think laterally. They must be service focused and have a genuine interest in people and their projects. They must have a flexible approach to work and a willingness to be involved in all areas of the business.
Experience within this industry would be viewed as an advantage though not a prerequisite. We provide ongoing training to make you the "best in the business".
There is some heavy lifting required (up to 25kg)
Key Competencies Required
- Previous retail/customer service experience
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
- Telephone etiquette
- Computer literacy in POS systems
- Self motivation and a willingness to learn
- Honesty, reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work 1/2 day Saturdays as rostered
Our Trading hours are 7am - 5pm weekdays
8am - 1pm Saturdays
We are not open on Sundays, Public holidays or for late night trade
