In this once in a lifetime role you will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact.  This is a unique role as you will be involved with every aspect of the retail merchandise life cycle.  This one of a kind opportunity combines product inception, creative, analytics, selling and the physical aspects involved with setting up and packing down the mobile pop up game day stores each week. Not for the faint hearted one must enjoy it all as you focus on:

1. Assisting with the retail program including identifying areas of opportunity, range concept, design & selection, orders, deliveries and sales
2. Developing the Club’s retail program that delivers on objectives, targets and engages fans
3. Ensures high levels of customer service to all fans across all communication channels including in stores, online, phones and email
4. Responsible for all online store website content and promotions
5. Manages all aspects of the online order process
6. Responsible to physically count, consolidate and load product from the storage areas in and out of vans to create well-presented shop fronts that assist in promotion and sales at varying game day locations
7. Assists with the management of the casual retail game day team
8. Raises, maintains and updates purchase orders and merchandise orders ensuring smooth delivery of product
9. Acts as the key point of contact for all queries
10. Assists the Consumer Business Manager performing reporting and analysis and across ad hoc and specific projects
11.  This is challenging and hands on with lots of variety. The successful candidate will thrive in fast paced environments where managing competing deadlines is an everyday occurrence. 

The role demands an experienced Retail Operations administrator with a keen eye for detail possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills.  You will need to be able to interact with people at all levels both internally and externally.  We’re looking for a very specialised person who possesses unlimited energy, a can-do approach, a proactive problem-solving ability with previous buying assistance experience.

You will need to have a proven track record of managing all the various aspects that form part of a Merchandise Assistant role.  This includes attendance at all Wests Tigers NRL games which always fall outside of traditional business hours.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ in Retail & Merchandise;
• Willingness to learn all aspects of the Retail and Licensing process;
• Exceptional planning, organisational & time management skills;
• Excellent computer literacy and Advanced MS Office application skills, Excel in particular
• Possess interpersonal skills, professionalism and strong communication skills;
• Ability to foster effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders;
• Flexibility in working hours, including abnormal hours and weekends; and
• Ideally relevant tertiary qualifications.
