We are Wray Organic - the best known grocer for certified organic & affordable food.  Our business was built from a desire to give back, to enrich people’s lives with access to healthy foods and deliver a rare quality of service unlike any other.  Our family owned Mount Gravatt store has grown from strength to strength since we opened in 2012, and has become a hub for a local community that loves real, organic food & healthy living.

 

We’ve built a passionate team that loves coming to work & genuinely loves to help their customers.  This year we’re growing our business, and are appointing an Assistant Store Manager or ambitious 2IC into our team.   Want to join us in creating impeccable customer experience? Keep reading –

 

You’ve got experience in:

  • Staff leadership, and inspiring teams that love to work for you. Your passion for developing & growing your people is infectious, and culture is your top priority
  • Strong operational management: including staff rostering; to cost management; stock ordering and P&L management.
  • Structured KPI’s, and an understanding of the business levers that drive strong team & business performance
  •  A sense of drive & urgency, a proactiveness that can be felt & a personality that customers are drawn to
  • Merchandising, and have a keen eye for great store presentation & visuals

 

Once appointed, your mandate will be to:

  • Lead your team of casual & FT staff from the front, demonstrating the highest standards of service excellence and a true passion for the business
  • Increase operational efficiency through smart stock purchasing & produce management, as well as effective rostering
  • Use your eye for detail to ensure the store is presented in it’s best light, and delivers an experience that customers love to shop in
  • Be available in peak shopping times, including 1 weekend day per week as a rostered day on
  • Be a truly valued partner in growing a business focused on community contribution and customer experience
