Why we have this role @ Showpo

• The website editor/content/upload coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate upload and maintenance of content to the Showpo website.

• Troubleshoot website anomalies, ensure the website stays current with an aim to increase web‐traffic and where possible, generate funds.  

• To ensure the product is portrayed in the best way possible on the website with the direction of the buying team.

What key responsibilities does this job have @ Showpo?

• Responsible for editing, cropping and scaling all photos uploaded on the the website

• Responsible for the management of photoshoot folders in particular knowing the name/sku of product

• Generate all related content necessary for product uploads, e.g. garment descriptions

• Creation of product in our e-commerce platform e.g. Attribute allocation for filters

• Upload materials to the website by agreed deadlines/ KPI timelines

• Carry out scheduled/regular updates of existing content

• Work with buyers and management team to ensure website is in optimal state

• Liaise with graphic design/illustrative consultants to develop and maintain site style and appearance

• Responsible for visual merchandising of the website

• Manage the virtual assistants who facilitate the daily uploads of product to the website

• Manage the daily uploads of new product, ensuring the correct product mix and appropriate seasonality

Qualities we look for…

• High level skills in Photoshop and Lightroom

• Qualifications in Photography or Graphic Design

• General understanding of garment fit and fabrication

• Comprehensive knowledge of fast fashion and womens clothing

• Adaptable, flexible and able to work autonomously and unsupervised

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think outside the box

• Start-up mentality - prepared to be hands-on

It would also be great if you had…

• Previous experience in a similar role with Fast Fashion E-commerce.

• Magento experience (or similar E-commerce platform).

• Understanding of digital content and optimisation of content eg. web traffic, SEO, Google analytics.

• Previous experience with writing detailed and informative fashion product descriptions.
