ABOUT THE ROLE

Under the direction of the Buying Manager, the role of Buying Administration Assistant will support the team in all aspects of the buying of products cycle and thrive in a fast paced, high volume environment. This role is an excellent opportunity for career development, to gain an insight into how to create and maintain product and item information aligning with our customer profile.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Administration of the back end for all sales running through regular reporting.
  • Update and maintain data of product and specification necessary for efficiencies of order management process.
  • Provide updated sales, data analysis, purchase orders and invoicing to ensure any discrepancies or changes have been actioned accurately.
  • Act as the point of contact for queries within the Buying Team Department.
  • Provide any ad-hoc duties in supporting the team and as directed by the Buying Manager.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Strong buying administration and data maintenance experience within retail back office is required.
  • Strong reporting and analysis experience.
  • Advanced excel skills and IT literacy with the ability to pick up systems and processes quickly.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to priorities and manage deadlines.
  • Strong attention to details with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in liaising and building professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of professionalism and dedication.
  • Ability to take on responsibility and work autonomously and as part of a team.
