YOU are an outdoors fanatic – someone who is active in sports shooting, off-roading, adventure, camping and has extensive experience in all facets of retail/e-commerce selling products that align with all things 'outdoors' – with a special focus on the Shooting Sports in Australia.

The role

  • Communication with customers, discussing and assisting in a timely manner relating to generating sales, reviewing order status, processing and discussing warranties, technical, and other customer service queries. Communication and contact will be through face to face with customers in store, phone contact, email correspondence;
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and related technical information to ensure provision of accurate and relevant advice;
  • Strive for the best customer experience at all times;
  • Any other customer service duties as required.

In order for your application to be considered, you must have:

  • Firearms licence, knowledge and active in any shooting sport or hunting;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office programmes;  
  • Extremely high attention to detail;
  • Effective communication skills – including verbal & written;
  • Common-sense commercial acumen;
  • Excellent intrapersonal and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated high degree of honesty and openness in all interactions with management, staff and external stakeholders;
  • High levels of emotional intelligence;
  • Professional presentation;
  • A passion for people and team work;
  • Ability to prioritise workload;
  • A flexible and helpful approach.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar retail or associated role.

Special Conditions

  • Current Firearms Licence
  • Recent Police Clearance/Criminal History Check (no older than 6 months)
  • Must be prepared to undertake psychometric testing
  • Must be prepared to contribute to KPI development and work towards agreed KPI
