Purpose of the Role

We seek a proactive and dedicated Counter Manager for Aesop’s upcoming counter within Myer Maroochydore. This position is full-time with working days from Tuesday to Saturday.

You will be responsible for budgeting, counter-specific marketing, and building the counter's client base, as well as choreographing the daily activities of a team of Retail Consultants. The successful candidate will be a skilled professional and be able to grace this role with diligence, passion, and élan.

This is a new location within the Aesop portfolio and will provide a unique opportunity for a manager to build a business and further develop their skill set. The successful candidate will possess a high standard of organisation, time management and commercial capability. You will be responsible for motivating, coaching and, in turn, the performance and development of your staff. An ability to create a unique Aesop experience with core customers will be important, along with creating key relationships with stakeholders and neighbouring businesses.

Who We Are Looking For

• Experience in the retail sector as a manager or assistant manager of a store or counter;
• The confidence to sell products requiring specialist knowledge;
• A willingness to embrace demonstration-based sales techniques;
• A demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service;
• Commercial acumen;
• Excellent communication skills and merchandising abilities - including the capacity to converse warmly and effortlessly with customers;
• Computer literacy encompassing strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite; and
• A strong desire to learn and challenge themselves within this position.
