Casual Grocery Merchandiser

Bayer is one of the leading marketers of over-the-counter (OTC) products and nutritional supplements in the world.  Currently experiencing sustained above market growth, Bayer manufactures and promotes high quality, branded products including Berocca, Claratyne, Nasonex Allergy, Aspro, Bepanthen, Canesten, Elevit, Menevit and Novalac. Working with global support and access to best practice, the business operates with considerable local autonomy both strategically and operationally.
 
Bayer Consumer Care is a vibrant business and we require the support of an energetic Casual Merchandiser to support our Grocery sales team. The territory covers South West Sydney, and is ideal for those who enjoy autonomy and flexibility of hours. The role will offer up to 15 hours of work per week, depending on demand, calling on Tier one Grocery stores promoting Bayer's OTC lines. The core responsibilities include: general merchandising, some sales activities, as well as ensuring compliance of agreed promotions at store level.

To be successful in this role you will:

• have previous experience in FMCG and/or strong merchandising experience, promoting and displaying products in Woolworths, Coles or IGA stores;
• demonstrate initiative and be proactive in your approach to your work;
• be self-motivated, highly organised and reliable;
• be able to negotiate sales at Grocery store level;
• have excellent communication skills; and
• have your own email, mobile telephone, registered vehicle and a valid driver's license.

Preferred:
To minimise travel distance and time to retail stores, it is ideal if you live within this Territory.
