Matt Blatt is growing……fast. As a result, we're seeking a superstar Showroom Assistant Manager for our flagship Alexandria location. This is a stellar opportunity to obtain great leadership experience and become part of the Blatt brand – and family.

The Opportunity
We're setting the bar high. We're seeking a hands-on retail leader with a can-do attitude, a penchant for problem-solving, a genuine commitment to next-level customer service and a serious passion for furniture, homewares, design and décor (just like we do).
Each of our showrooms operates as a boutique business, so this is a largely autonomous role, enjoying the responsibilities and rewards of running a small business. We won't put boundaries on your creativity, or impose onerous VM regulations. Instead, we'll provide a constant stream of premium, contemporary products to play with (and sell!) and encourage you to develop an inspiring showroom, and workplace - your way. And in this industry, we're pretty sure that's anything but the status quo.

To succeed in this role you'll need to:
- Work with the Showroom Manager to recruit, train and mentor the showroom sales team (full-time, part-time and casual staff)
- Work with the Showroom Manager to create appealing visual merchandising displays to reflect the brand's unique personality
- Carefully coordinate staff roster to plan for peak and quieter trading times
About You:
- 3+ years in a 2IC or Management position required
- Demonstrated customer service and sales experience
- Passionate about furniture and home wares
