Buyer, Merchandiser and manage key online accounts.

We are looking for an Energetic, commercially minded and creative person who has an interest and trend awareness of Home and Living product..

We are a medium size company in our space, but we are run and managed by a small staff compliment, who have in their time, manged to win prestigious industry awards.

All round skills or a good attitude to getting involved in a  multitude of disciplines is essential.

This is not a corporate environment, but a hands on role that is involved with the overall running of the company and includes 2-3 buying trips overseas a year with the Directors, making the big decisions on direction and goals of the company.

Personal growth and experience is second to none.

You will be part of a supportive and effective team to assist with product selection and co-ordinating product ranges.
You will assist with merchandising the Melbourne showroom and interstate Trade Fair stands.

You need to be comfortable with using Excel spread sheets and communicating with onliners and market places such as Ebay and Amazon.

Therefore a minimum entry level Graphic Design and social media skills would be required.

You need to be a visual person interested in Home & Living product..

To be successful for this role, your abilities need to include:

• Entry level photoshop skills
• Comfortable with Excel formulas and tables
• Manage key online market place accounts
• Experience as a buyer assistant or merchandiser would be an advantage.
• Ability to maintain the look and feel of existing websites.
• Communicating and developing a great working relationship with colleagues and customers including local retail stores, stylists and interior decorators.
• Design promotional material and select product for inclusion in sales EDM’s
• Providing administrative support to Admin Department
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Passion for Home & Living product
• Trend awareness

You need to be passionate and enthusiastic about product and excited by the opportunity to demonstrate your creative flair, product knowledge and technical expertise. Your strengths will be your ability to juggle multiple tasks, be organised, analytical and work exceptionally well as part of a fast paced team

Ability to communicate in Mandarin would be a bonus to deal with suppliers
