The Company:

This prestigious private school has three campuses across Melbourne to meet the needs of different age groups. This position is located at the Senior School (Year 9 to Year 12) in South Yarra.

The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing a high caliber of retail expertise to ensure the efficient operation of the school’s uniform shop. You will also need to bring your expertise in online retail to assist the school expand operations to include an online store.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a high level of customer service and engage in day to day shop functions
• Maintain a staffing plan to meet the demands of the shop
• Manage staff uniform orders, inventory and resourcing
• Establish the online store and select an e-commerce platform
• Fill customer orders and coordinate the distribution of orders to customers

Skills and Experience:

• Previous retail experience, ideally gained in a clothing/apparel environment
• Understanding of stock ordering and control, customer service and staff management
• Providing exceptional customer service and meeting quality standards for services
• Skilled in the implementation and use of e-commerce platforms
• Ability to lead a team of casual staff members to deliver exceptional customer service
• Driver’s license is essential

The Next Step:

This is a permanent position for an experienced Retail Manager commencing in August. The salary on offer is 65k plus super for the right candidate.
