About the role
This full-time role is working across the Home Timber and Hardware, Leading Edge Electrical, Newspower Newsagency and building supplies departments.
What you would be doing
The main things that you would be doing include:
- Welcoming customers by greeting them and offering them assistance
- Helping customers by providing information on products (features, pricing, services)
- Ensuring the store is well stocked and looking great
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Processing payments and handling cash
- Helping unload trucks and doing deliveries og gas bottles and building supplies etc
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for applicants with the following skills and experience:
- Experience with the product/industry preferred but not essential....attitude is more important than experience
- Good communication skills
- Motivated and with a positive attitude
- Proven willingness to learn and improve
- Hard working
- A truck drivers licence ( light rigid ) and forklift licence will be required, however our client is prepared to place someone on the proviso they gain these licences.
