Kmart is a brand we've all grown up with and over the past few years, we have made some significant and exciting changes to our stores, products, customer service and trading hours that will ensure continued success.
With over 20 stores operating 24 hours a day and all other stores open during extended trading hours, Kmart is now easily accessible for our customers whenever they choose to shop. To ensure we provide a continued service during these extended trading hours, we have a Duty Manager overseeing the operations of the store.
The Duty Manager is responsible for the management of the store during the evening/overnight trading hours. This includes:
- Effective operation of the store
- Responsibility for customer satisfaction
- Asset protection and legislative compliance
- Team member productivity
To be successful in the role you will:
- be a highly organised individual with proven experience in a similar retail management role
- have strong communication skills support your ability to mentor, coach and develop a team
- be enthusiastic and reliable - you have a passion for providing excellent customer service
- be required to work flexible hours
Flexibility is essential, with the position operating on roster as follows:
Wednesday to Friday
5.15pm-10.15pm
Saturday and Sunday
3.15pm-8.15pm
(Every 3rd Weekend 10.15am-8.15pm)
