AHG is currently seeking an Experienced Used Vehicle Buyer to join our dynamic team at Clarkson Nissan. Working closely with Used Vehicle Manager, the Wholesale Consultant/Buyer is responsible for maintaining sufficient used stock for the dealership through purchasing vehicles from a variety of sources.    
Duties will include:

•   Liaising with purchasing agents and customers on wholesale matters
• Main contact between the used cars department and wholesale buying and selling agents
• Purchasing vehicles from a variety of sources, carrying out appraisals/ valuations.

 
To succeed in this role you will need the following:
 

• Have at least 12 months experience in a sales role
• Mechanical knowledge/background is a must
• A basic working knowledge of the wholesale vehicle market
• Have the drive to succeed and meet dealership monthly targets
• Ability to negotiate with Private Buyers
• Maintain relationships with trade buyers for disposal of unwanted stock.
• Good Time Management Skills
