The Role

As the business continues its growth across the country, they are searching for experienced talent to join the team as they steadily open new stores. This role suits an operational manager who loves leading by example, and enjoys the interaction with customers. Located in the south east of Canberra, this a wonderful opportunity to join a national business in growth. Key responsibilities include;

• Achieve sales targets through effective selling of merchandise within the business guidelines
• Ensure the sales team sell and provide outstanding customer service
• Ensure the site team consistently promote the highest standard of professional customer service 
• Develop the team through coaching and training as well as setting clear direction and goals 
• Recruitment and retention of quality employees.
• Participate in the daily tasks and maintenance of the showroom
• Ensure banking procedures and daily balancing are executed with regard to procedure and security.
• Responsible and accountable for stock integrity and accurate stock-takes to be completed
• Responsible for the maintenance of OSH requirements instilling good housekeeping techniques.
