Our client, located in the Western Suburbs is a leading Australian retail group specializing in women´s fashion footwear with over 100 stores, this brand is experiencing a rapid growth across Australia. They are passionate about delivering an exceptional experience to their customers and providing their teams with trainings and opportunities for growth and development.

We are seeking a results driven and passionate State Manager with a strong operations background who will utilise their experience to grow the retail sales and profit performance. Reporting to the Brand Manager you will be responsible for all store results within your designated area, managing sales and budgets, including cost reductions such as salaries and shrinkage. Stock management, team development and trainings, merchandising as well as creating and improving process and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving sales to reach and exceed sales budgets
• Ensuring the operational and marketing initiatives are implemented to a high standard
• Be accountable for delivering a great customer service in your allocated stores
• Ensuring stocktake results are in line with company plan
• Ensuring consistent appearance, polices and procedures are followed by all stores
• Training and development of Area Manager in all aspects of the business
• Ensuring all stores are merchandised to the highest possible standards as per company policy
• Preparing reports for Brand Manager and Head Office

The successful candidate will possess:

• Multi-site retail management experience
• Strong retail operations skills, drive to exceed company targets and strong business acumen
• The ability to analyse and organise stock to maximize sales
• Proven experience coaching and mentoring team members
• Strong creative talent for merchandising
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate to advanced in Microsoft Office
• Must have own car and flexibility for travel, local and interstate
