About the Opportunity
As an Area Manager you will motivate, train, guide and develop your teams and Site Managers, along with reviewing and managing the quality of works at various sites across the Sydney metropolitan area.
This role is a full-time hands on field based role. Working hours are predominantly Monday to Friday with some occasional night and weekend work required.
Specific responsibilities:
- Oversee contract standards and maintenance jobs to ensure they exceed our clients’ expectations
- Develop routines and schedules
- Manage and build relationships with clients and teams
- Develop, implement or improve procedures to ensure organisational efficiency
- Weekly supervision reporting (internally and externally)
- Regular review of electronic forums and job tracking portals and management of actions which are generated
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience training, coaching and mentoring a team
- Prior experience exceeding goals as a Team Leader within the Hospitality, Tourism or Retail sectors
- Valid drivers licence and own car
- Proven experience working independently and a positive managerial style
- A natural communicator and highly organised
