Gewürzhaus Herb & Spice Merchants is an award-winning, Melbourne-based retail company with a team of 70 staff in seven stores. We mill over 100 bespoke spice, herb, salt and sugar blends for our self-scoop concept stores in Chadstone, Toorak, Carlton, the Queen Victoria Markets, Melbourne CBD, Sydney CBD and Canberra. Gewürzhaus also runs cooking classes, wholesale accounts and an online store.
Purpose of the Role:
The Demand Planner primary role is to support the Supply Chain Manager by producing detailed forecasts and planned purchasing cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Detailed rolling demand forecast and inventory planning
- Determining optimum order quantities and ordering cycles
- Allocating stock to ensure zero stock outages
- Production forecasting and planning
- Raw materials supply planning
- New product implementation planning and forecasting
- Product performance reporting and analysis
What are we looking for:
- Tertiary qualified, Business, Commerce or Supply Chain Management
- 3 years minimum Demand Planning experience, preferably in the retail industry
- Advanced Microsoft Excell skills essential, Visual Basics knowledge is highly desirable
- Super organised with an exceptional attention to detail
