We are seeking experienced Grocery & Dairy/Freezer & Duty Managers for a number of our SA stores, who have the drive and enthusiasm to take the business into the future and continue to consolidate the group as one of the leading independent retailers. You will be responsible for the performance and profitability of high volume and fast paced departments. You will be an effective leader with excellent communication and coaching skills and have a proven ability to inspire, develop and drive team performance through mentoring and coaching.
Your ability to use your outstanding people management skills in conjunction with your creative merchandising and department presentation skills is an inherent requirement of this role. Experience in a role as a Supermarket Duty Manager, along with a department will be highly regarded. The position requires the following qualities
• Excellent customer service skills
• People Management skills
• Cost control including wages
• Staff rostering
• Shrinkage control
• Make the most of every sales opportunity
• Excellent merchandising skills
