Beauty Specialist & Therapist - Minimum 25 hours per week (Regular Casual Role with a view to Part-time)

About the Role
This newly created role seeks a unique, passionate and mobile individual to join our dynamic team as a travelling State Beauty Specialist, Therapist and as required, Counter Ambassador.
As part of this role, the successful candidate will work on Ultraceuticals counters within various David Jones stores across VIC, with a focus mostly on CBD and inner-city Stores. They will be responsible for supporting Ultraceuticals Counter Managers and Teams through providing exemplary customer service, business-building and promotional activities, participation in Facial Events and achieving overall sales success. They will also possess the skills and competencies to step in as Acting Counter Manager and manage Ultraceuticals Counters when a resident Counter Manager is on leave. In addition, this role provides solid support to the State Business Manager, assisting with inducting, training, coaching and developing Store team members as required.
The successful candidate will be a qualified and experienced beauty therapist and sales professional, and demonstrate a strong record of success along with team leader/sales management experience. The desire to make a positive difference across a variety of David Jones sites with diverse customer demographics is also important. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful and multi-award winning brand within David Jones. As this role is positioned as a brand expert with links to both in-Store Teams and the State Business Manager, the candidate will also be exposed to exceptional opportunities for rewards, ongoing training and career development.

- Exceptional leadership, team management and team development ability
- Flexibility to travel and work in various David Jones locations across VIC
- Track record in achieving sales targets and meeting and exceeding KPIs
- Exceptional customer service ability
- Proactive, positive attitude and self-motivation, with a passion to drive retail sales
- Adaptability to fit in as a respectful team player and step up as a trusted Team leader as required
- Impeccable interpersonal skills and personal presentation
- Ability to work some weekends, public holidays and late-night trade according to the business needs
