We are currently searching for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our Taubmans Trade team in Port Melbourne on a Full-time basis.
As a Sales Assistant, you will work closely with your team to provide exceptional service and build strong relationships with our Trade and DIY customers.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Tint and mix paint – full training provided
- Replenish and merchandise stock
- Process and deliver orders
- Operate Point of sales system
- Maintain a clean and presentable store
Along with your previous retail and customer service experience, your strong communication skills and high attention to detail will also be utilised in this role. Previous experience in paint/hardware is beneficial, but not essential as on-the-job product training is provided.
Manual handling is a requirement of this role, as such; you should be comfortable lifting heavy paint tins. From time to time, you may be required to conduct deliveries; therefore, a valid driver's license and flexibility to support local stores is required.
Our Taubmans Trade Centres operate from 6:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday and 7:00am-12:00pm on Saturdays. Therefore, occasional Saturday work will be required on a rostered basis.
