This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated person to join a small, dedicated team, that is aiming to grow in size and offer a wider range of services. This is an ideal opportunity to utilize your retail sales and interpersonal skills to provide service and assistance that will delight our patients.
In our optometry practice, you will have an opportunity to work closely with our patients, assist them with their eye care needs including frame and lens selections, contact lens, general administration and other receptionist tasks as required.
You will bring your advanced dispensing skills, face-to-face retail experience, product knowledge, excellent communication skills and team focus to our optometry practice.
You will have a history containing a strong understanding of the day to day running of an optometry practice. You will possess sound knowledge of frame and lens selection, fitting, measuring and some general repairs.
A strong customer service focus is required along with the ability to take ownership and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
Required skills and attributes:
- Be a qualified Optical Dispenser or have experience in Optics - this is a must!
- Be willing and available to greet patients in a bright, friendly manner and promptly attend to their needs.
- Enjoy delivering exceptional patient service over the phone and face-to-face.
- Have experience with lens fittings and product ordering.
- Have the ability to find the right frames, sunglasses and other appliances to meet the patients needs.
- Able to work autonomously.
- Be computer literate and fluent in the use of Optomate practice management software.
- Available Saturdays and flexibility to work other hours over a 6 day trade.
