About the role
As a result of growth in the business, we are currently seeking highly motivated and energetic Retail Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers to join our team in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne. The successful candidate will need to be prepared to change store location if required to other stores within the region.
Working at a 7-Eleven store means you will need to thrive in a fast paced, team environment and always be willing to go the extra mile for our customers and your team. In order to hit the ground running, we are looking for previous retail store management experience and strong communication and customer service skills.
The role is physical in nature, so you'll need to enjoy hands-on work, meeting deadlines and variety (no two days are ever the same). You will assist in maintaining exceptional retail standards; providing the best customer service, recruiting and training staff, and handling a range of retail management responsibilities such as ordering and maintaining the OH&S standards in the store. Some weekend and afternoon shift work will also be required.
This role is a fantastic stepping stone to other roles within the business. The successful candidate will participate in extensive retail management training and receive support in building their skills in retail management. TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WOULD HAVE:
- Prior experience in retail management (including people management)
- Proven customer service skills
- Positive can-do attitude
- Relevant working rights, which allow for full time hours
- Your own transport
- Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the business including some weekend shifts
Successful candidates will receive extensive retail management training and support to build their skills in retail management.
