Malec Fresh Foods is seeking an experienced Supermarket Manager to join our successful group and lead our great team of people.
As part of our exciting Monterey Keys store you will be provided with the opportunity to show off all of your exceptional leadership and customer service skills whilst also developing your skills whilst surrounded by like minded people who share similar values.
As the successful candidate you will be:
- Highly motivated, energetic, positive and capable store manager to run the Monterey Keys store.
- Must have to have extensive management experience.
- Pref. working experience with IGA or similar back end computer programs
- Must be able to work on a rotating roster within the hours of 5:30am and 8pm.
- Have a valid current drivers licence
- Physically fit as stock needs to packed and to be put away
- Must have a good ability with maths, figures and customer service.
- Must have a safe food handlers certificate
- Be competent with Microsoft based programs including Word, Outlook & Excel
As part of your varied and exciting day you will be required to
- Complete Deli and Register work
- Ongoing Load work
- Rostering including sales and productivity planning
- Achieve sales, gross profit & shrinkage budgets/targets
- Complete orders/stock control
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Lead, coach & develop your team
- Ensure a high standard of store presentation
- Wage control and the ability to roster within set budgets
- Inventory management and stocktaking
- Implementing in-store marketing & promotions
- Prioritising and delegating tasks effectively
