We now have an exciting opportunity for a performance minded Assistant Boutique Manager to assist in managing and leading the team of our Flagship Fashion Boutique - Melbourne.  

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to develop their career with Chanel. You will be responsible for all facets of the day to day boutique operations including establishment of active and strategic client relationships, management of sales budgets and KPIs, mentoring and leadership of the team, inventory management and above all, ensuring that the Boutique ambience and customer experience is consistent with Chanel's commitment to excellence.

Your main areas of responsibility will include:

  • Coaching and mentoring all team members, on a day to day basis, acting as a mentor and role model to ensure competency in all areas of the boutique.
  • Motivating all staff and demonstrate leadership to achieve a high standard of client service in order to maximise the sales and profitability of the boutique.
  • Working with the Boutique Manager to take action on issues within the business and develop solutions to improve employee performance and to develop and empower the team.
  • Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximise profits and take advantage of various market trends or variations.
  • Analysing and interpreting trends to facilitate planning and the targeting of new customer markets.

We are seeking the following skills and attributes;

  • Strong retail operational skills with demonstrated in a management role, preferably within a similar luxury environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and develop a strong client data base through outstanding customer and after sales service.
  • The ability to achieve and exceed budgeted sales targets and drive your team to success.
  • The ability to support, lead, motivate and inspire, creating a strong, friendly people-oriented culture of high performance.
  • Outstanding personal image and presentation standards in line with Chanel guidelines.
  • A focus on the delivery of a luxurious client experience and the ability to develop a strong loyal client network.
  • A high degree of professionalism and maturity in all areas of business.

This position requires flexibility and commitment to working weekdays, weeknights and weekends as required by the business.
