Position Details/Information
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Thrift Shop Manager to effectively and efficiently manage all aspects of the Thrift Shop to maximise sales and profitability.
This position will be required to promote and market Thrift Shop to engage new customers within the community.
The Thrift Shop is located in Leongatha and will supervise a pool of volunteers.
Hours and Award/Salary Level
This is a part time position, 22.8 hours per week, fixed term initially for 6 months. Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Retail Industry Award 2010, Level 4.
What you can bring
• Qualification in a retail or related field highly regarded
• Relevant retails and supervision experience essential (not for profit sector desirable)
• Volunteer Management experience is highly desirable x
• Needs minimal direct supervision; Is proactive and self-motivated
• Conveys information effectively – verbally and in writing
• Displays an optimistic approach to work
• A willingness to undergo a Crimcheck is essential
• A current Employee Working With Children Check is essential
• A current Victorian Drivers Licence is essential
• Be able to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
