We are an online retailer operating specialising in furniture and homewares. We have a fast growing family owned business with a great team. Our Australian offices and distribution centre are based in Brisbane, Queensland.
We are committed to continuing our current growth and we would like to appoint an assistant to our Product Manager. The role of Product Assistant / QC Officer will help take our business to another level.
In order to apply for this role, you will need to be a highly organized person who can multitask, work individually & part of a team, and work to tight deadlines.
Responsibilities will likely include:
Ensuring the quality of our products received is up to companies’ standard, through pre-shipment inspections, QC reports and supplier liaison.
Keep up to date records of batch changes
Maintain existing supplier relationships
Co-ordinate photo shoots for new and existing products
Product sample management
Administration support to Product Manager
Essential Minimum Requirements:
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage consistently high workloads within strict deadlines
Ability to develop and maintain successful supplier relationships
Demonstrated experience in dealing with overseas and factories and suppliers
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Experience in Adobe Suite
Ideally you will have at least 2 years experience in a similar role and be looking to gain further responsibility. This position offers a great opportunity for growth in a rapidly growing Company.
The role is based on the Sunshine Coast, with the relocation to Brisbane late 2018/early 2019.
Initially this is a casual role of up to 30hours per week, with a plan to become full time for the right applicant.
