The Opportunity - Support Two Wonderful Brand Managers Working on the Cough/Throat Portfolio - Leading Brands: Durotuss, Difflam

As a result of expansion initiatives within our organisation we now have a unique Assistant Brand Manager (with minimum 1-2 Yrs Post Qualification Experience) opportunity available to join our Consumer Healthcare (CHC) division.  This role will suit an Assistant Brand Manager seeking to join an organisation offering challenging interesting and varied work together with career progression.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, Consumer Healthcare, the primary focus of the role will be to assist in the achievement of designated marketing and sales targets for the Cough/Throat portfolio by executing elements of the marketing plan in full and on time.  You will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of the marketing plan for brands in the area of responsibility.

The role will also require co-ordination of all marketing functions for brands including:  sales activity, promotional material, advertising (multi-channel) and public relations etc.

About You

In order to be considered for this position you must demonstrate the following:

• Possess FMCG or Pharmaceutical Industry Assistant Brand Management experience (essential)
• Ability to work within a budget and handling  of invoices
• Demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles in relation to preparation, presentation and implementation of marketing plan in accordance with due dates
• Experience developing, producing and executing marketing and sales promotional material
• Solid prioritisation and multi-tasking ability
• Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
• A strong work ethic and initiative - an independent thinker
• Adaptable to change
• Tertiary qualifications in marketing or related business discipline (essential)
