Our client an $18b+ company has been at the forefront of the global dairy and beverage industry  for over 50 years. They are recognised within their industry as the leaders in innovation and technology for the broader dairy or beverages market. Along with their technical expertise they have invested strongly in Marketing to ensure they are aware of market trends and future consumer demand to continue delivering value to their global customer base. They have recently had an internal promotion so are now in the market for a strong Marketing Manager (or Senior Brand manager) reporting to the Marketing Director.

Role Responsibilities

The focus for the role is to drive growth across the Oceania market and strengthen their market positioning in key categories depending on the geographical area.
  • Merge customer strategies with the consumer opportunities inline with the businesses capability to maximise growth opportunities long term.
  • Identify and drive opportunities across the customer base by analysing and predicting market trends and evolutions.
  • Work with global business for benchmarking and best practice requirements in line with the global strategy.
  • Define the category development strategies in line with business objectives and then drive the execution. Work with customers to develop marketing concepts for new products within specific categories.
  • Manage promotional and digital strategies in line with company guidelines and also manage all statistical data and research activities for you categories.
Background Required
  • Tertiary qualified in marketing or related.
  • 5 years + of recent dairy or beverages experience at a marketing management or senior brand management level
  • Commercially savvy with P&L experience, ideally owning advertising and marketing support budgets.
  • Experience managing consumer research projects and ideally an understanding or retail trends/issues
  • Experience managing new product development projects.
  • Strong communicator, that is collaborative and action orientated with the ability influence both internally and externally is critical.
  • This role will also require the individual to travel a couple of times a year (Oceania, Asia, Europe etc.)
