About the business

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join the team of an international tertiary education group. 

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a marketing plan. This person must be a leader with experience in managing marketing staff and can prioritise and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Works with the marketing team to develop a marketing plan and strategies to promote the College to all stakeholders and ensure the sales and financial targets of the College are met
  • Completes marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Management of the Marketing team
  • Lead, recommend and advise on processes and systems related to marketing activities for student recruitment;
  • Leading & overseeing the creation of all external communications, branding, public relations, social media and marketing campaigns
  • Oversees and maintains GBCA's Website
  • Promotes key GBCA events
  • Maintains research database by identifying and assembling marketing information.
  • Designs and conducts appropriate market research to provide data for strategic planning.
  • Responsible for obtaining approval of all marketing materials from Compliance Manager prior to release.
  • Contributes to team effort by stepping in to help team when needed.
  • Performs other duties as negotiated with Managing Director

Skills and experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business Management or other related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in successful marketing management role
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring and leading a team
  • Digital media experience
  • Knowledge and experience in market research practices and techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, conflict resolution, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
