Marketing and Communications Manager & National Association Secretary (Company Secretary) | 25 hours PT
Work from home! Flexible part-time hours!
Competitive salary package $80k+ FTE!
Supporting the President and Board
As the leading National Body of Auctioneers and Valuers, our client offers membership, training and support to all industries in the asset management space. Run by a team of experienced and dedicated volunteers, this busy board of directors need an exceptional individual to come on board and take over all the administrative duties that come with running an association. And the best thing about the role? You will be working from home!
In this part-time role, you have the chance to utilize all your professional skills, respond to complex issues, communicate at a senior level and enjoy a varied role, all while maintaining the elusive work/life balance. You will be responsible for all members’ communications and in promoting the objectives of the association.
On a day-to-day basis your duties might be?
- Contacting businesses to promote the association
- Regular communications to members
- Liaising with the board to prepare and write proposals
- Minute taking and distribution
- Budget preparation and revenue management
- All other administrative duties that pop up
- You will be provided with a work laptop and phone
What we need from you to be successful in this role?
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - ESSENTIAL
- Experienced in marketing and promotions
- Self motivated and history of working autonomously
- Proficiency in all Microsoft office programs
- Understanding of Xero and bookkeeping
