Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Retail Marketing Coordinator to join a small onsite team located at Epping North Shopping Centre, Victoria. Reporting to the Centre Manager you will contribute to the growth of income and value across a portfolio of 5 neighbourhood shopping centres.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Collection, analysis and reporting of the monthly tenant sales, together with how they correlate with marketing campaigns in the same month.
- You will lead effective sales and traffic driving initiatives and develop differentiated marketing platforms to secure growth and profitability for the centre
- Assisting the Centre Manager through percentage rental and casual leasing
- Assisting new retailers in establishing launch and stabilisation plans
- Presenting marketing plans to existing retailers
- Reporting marketing results in regards to performance, ROI outcomes and preparing annual marketing budgets
- Identifying areas of cost-savings in production and purchase of promotional materials
- Consistently maintain the centre brand
- Coordinating regular retailer meetings on an individual and category basis
- Providing effective support and guidance as a key role within the Centre Management team
- Oversight of marketing plans, sales forecasting and analysis and campaign development
In addition, you may be required to complete general administrative duties, including but not limited to:
- Client liaison
- Processing invoices, work orders and expenses
- Managing all incoming and outgoing correspondence
- IT support
- Office filing and archiving
Qualifications
Further skills and experience you will bring include:
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to Advanced level MS Office skills and ideally intermediate skill level on Adobe Creative Suite
- A solid understanding of current retail market trends
- An ability to interpret, analyse and report on traffic count, sales and percentage rent breakpoints against campaign objectives
- An ability to present marketing plans and build strong professional relationships with the retailers
- Strong ability to navigate and update web pages and Facebook
- A Marketing degree desirable but not essential.
