A bit about the role

The Digital Content Coordinator will support the wider Digital and Communications team with a focus on creating, editing, publishing and digital marketing activity across the entire Bunnings digital ecosystem

Key responsibilities will include

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to produce high-quality, engaging digital content for Bunnings’ digital properties
  • Ensure all priority digital content is fully optimised and executed before and after launch
  • Create and target content to maximise online audience and engagement
  • Write on-brand copy, review and edit copy for Bunnings’ digital properties, including  ‘How to’ video content, articles, campaigns and EDM copy
  • Identify opportunities to cross promote existing content across digital channels
  • Plan personalised content based on user behaviour
  • Identify new ideas for content using analysis, customer surveys, user testing and analytics
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of eDMs
  • Publish new content via our content management system

 

You must have:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience within a content or publishing role
  • A tertiary degree in Communications, Journalism or similar
  • Strong editing, writing and organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, enabling you to liaise with team members at all levels and external stakeholders, such as agencies
  • Proficiency using a content management system for large volumes of content
  • Experience using Google Analytics or a similar platform
  • Basic understanding of search engine optimisation techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • A collaborative team orientated approach
