Fantastic opportunity for a senior Paid Social specialist to join a global, market leading, enterprise social media management technology company. This business is revolutionising customer engagement in multiple countries globally for thousands of household name global brands.
They are looking for a Senior Media Manager which is a position that sits in their Strategic Advertising Services team. This team is made up of a specialist group of advertising experts who manage their strategic clients’ budgets across social platforms. They are a resource for large advertisers who do not have a team with the skill set to run their own campaigns.
What You'll Do
The Sr Media Manager focuses on managing the needs of American Express. The successful candidate will sit in-house at American Express in the Sydney CBD, integrating completely into the Amex business and thus embedding deeply into Amex strategy and culture, and being welcomed as part of the team.
You will, directly and indirectly, manage additional team members assigned to their accounts ensuring at all times that client expectations are met, and campaigns are flawlessly executed.
Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified
- 3-5 years of direct response campaign execution experience in social platforms, knowledge of brand campaigns a plus (FB, Twitter)
- Experience using third-party ad tech (i.e.. Kenshoo, Marin, 4C, Adaptly, BrandNetworks, etc)
- 2-3 years of client management experience (client-direct or via agency) with confidence to engage deeply in the client’s business
- Have a mastery of social media best practice and hunger to stay at the forefront of the industry
- Experience managing people a plus
- Experience with third-party tracking companies a plus (mobile and/or web)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to solve complex issues by finding new ways to resolve via process updates, teamwork cross-functionally, or platform enhancements
- Calm attitude towards client-driven stressors
- Unending passion to continuously improve whether it is campaign performance, team/platform capabilities, or client satisfaction
- B.A./B.S. required in a relevant course of study (ex. Business, Marketing, Finance, etc)
