They are looking for a driven, passionate and innovative Head of Marketing & Communications to join their team.

Your new role
Reporting to the CEO this role will develop the national marketing and communication strategy in line with Aftercare’s mission and overall strategy

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage the Marketing and Communications budget
  • Lead the development and implementation of an integrated communications strategy across multiple channels including social media, printed collateral, media and PR and internal communications.
  • Drive all media and corporate marketing activities in order to meet marketing plan objectives
  • Establish and manage the media / PR strategy to continue to develop the organisation’s brand profile
  • Establish benchmarks to review the implementation of the marketing budget and ROI  analysis on key elements of the marketing program
  • Maintain up-to-date market, media and industry knowledge and competitor awareness

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role, leading a team, developing and implementing strategies across multiple marketing channels
  • Demonstrated significant experience in leading, developing, anticipating, executing and evaluating internal and external communications strategies
  • Proven experience in the development of campaigns to support new business initiatives and in successfully building a brand and stakeholder engagement
  • Proven ability to generate positive media coverage, including developing appropriate media angles and stories
  • Demonstrated experience creating engaging content for digital channels (web, social media and email marketing
  • Experience within the not-for-profit sector or research/health related industries may be an advantage
