About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a Category Marketing Manager to join our Floorcare team at TTi. This newly created position is responsible for the leadership, growth and management of all Floorcare categories. Reporting to the General manager of Floorcare ANZ and the National Marketing Manager, your core objectives will include:

  • Leads marketing strategy development, new product initiatives, and product line P&L, product planning, and strategic channel distribution in conjunction with the NSM & KAM.
  • Ensure the core brand values are followed throughout the organisation including product development, channel marketing and packaging teams.
  • Directs trade and consumer insight needs- analyses and communicates results from qualitative and quantitative studies.
  • Manage market research activities to maintain a deep understanding of consumer needs and trends- liaise with TTi US & UK product teams, consumers and retailers.
  • Provides brand leadership and development of integrated advertising campaigns to support various segments of the brand’s business to help achieve the company’s overall business goals.
  • Sets media initiatives that drive sales and delivers high return on investment
  • Develop strong business acumen with proven track record in setting and achieving financial goals at an SBU level
  • Leads mentors and grows a lean cross functional team of Product Managers and works closely with the Product Quality & Compliance team.
  • Work with Key Account Managers and the National Sales Manager to deliver and execute effective trade customer programs.
  • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among the Floorcare Product team that allows for collaborating, supportiveness and cohesiveness.

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or Marketing required, MBA a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in product marketing management in multiple disciplines: Product Management, Engineering, Brand Management, Channel Management etc.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to motivate and energise others
  • Strong people management skills- ability to mentor, develop and inspire
  • Leads with integrity; conduits business fairly, honestly, and ethically every day
  • Adaptable and willing to efficiently manage multiple priorities and business demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills- presentation skills, creative writing, technical and report writing etc.
