Your new company
Established for over 70 years, our client is an Australian producer of consumer goods with a reputation built of quality and service. Thanks to the continued success of their brand portfolio a leadership opportunity has arisen for a Head of Marketing to join the Perth business in this ASX listed organisation.

Your new role
As Head of Marketing, you will report to the General Manager, Sales & Marketing and will take overall responsibility for the development and execution of brand and product marketing strategies geared towards delivering key business revenue and profit objectives. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Management and leadership of a team of 5 Brand and Assistant Brand Managers
  • Engaging with executive level stakeholders to conceptualise an overarching marketing strategy across brand, product and market development through digital and traditional channels
  • Recruiting, developing, motivating and retaining a team of high performing Brand and Product Marketing Managers
  • Developing and managing annual marketing budgets to maximise ROI
  • Carrying out competitor analysis to ensure the company’s marketing strategy is competing effectively
  • Ensuring that brand guidelines are adhered to in all marketing activities across the company.
What you'll need to succeed

You will be an outcome focused marketing professional with experience leading high performing teams and developing marketing strategies linked to delivering revenue and profit growth in competitive markets. You will take a contemporary customer centric approach and be able to develop omnichannel strategies encompassing all digital and traditional channels. Ideally, you will have strong knowledge of the FMCG sector and have a demonstrable track record of success delivering strong ROI.

This is an opportunity to use your strategy and leadership skills to have a profound impact on acquisition and retention strategies in local, national and international consumer markets. In addition to the rarity of the opportunity itself and the challenge it brings, you will be rewarded with a base salary of $140,000 - $150,000, superannuation and company performance related bonus.
