Hockey Australia has cleverly and strategically positioned itself for a stellar future with the launch of two major leagues in 2019, a 5 year broadcast deal with Fox Sports and ambitious growth strategic plan, all off the back of the extraordinary global success of both our Women's and Men's teams.  Australia genuinely punches above its weight in this sport and that is exactly what this powerhouse peak body aims to capitalise on with the assistance of a gun Marketing Manager to join their small and effective Marcomms team.  Reporting directly to the dynamic GM Commercial & Communications your focus will be growing the sport, delivering marketing campaigns across the following key areas:

• Events promotion, ticket sales & game day experience

• Participation growth and community engagement

• Maximise partnership outcomes
• Brand management

You will develop and implement the annual marketing strategy focusing on participation growth and engagement, manage budgets and work collaboratively, strategically and clearly to delivery ROMI. As an outcomes focused, hands-on self-starter you will have:

• Proven ability to deliver measurable results
• Experience managing a wide range of campaigns (on and offline)
• Sport, membership &/or events experience
• Budget management
• Stakeholder management

Previous experience in a similar role is essential together with appropriate tertiary qualifications, plenty of energy, a strategic mindset, solutions focus and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done.
