The Position
Due to a recent relocation within the organisation an exceptional role has become available for a talented Marketing Representative. This role will see the successful candidate take the lead in strengthening and developing relationships within the Namoi & Tamworth region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including;
- Provide market information and help growers gin and market their cotton and cottonseed
- Assist with creation and implementation of marketing strategies
- Monitor & review all fixed, on call & area contract positions
- Continually update crop estimate numbers
- Ensure that all marketing contracts have been signed, orders placed & purchase instructions are complete
- Monitor the delivery of physical cotton against contracts during the ginning season
- Advise respective Queensland cotton personnel on information that assists on monitoring & recovery of credit advances
- Monitor and report competitor activity
Plus a variety of other duties that will assist in the delivery of a successful end product
The Candidate
To be successful in your application for this role, you will be passionate about the agricultural industry, it will be preferable but not essential for you to have previous experience with cotton.
You will be a marketing professional who may have either tertiary qualifications or experience within the marketing industry.
