A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Account Manager to join the Brisbane team of Australia’s most awarded PR company, Red Agency.

You will be joining a leading team that is rapidly growing and is consistently producing award winning, dynamic work.
You’ll be responsible for managing several senior level corporate clients accounts within the corporate industry. You will utilise your excellent relations with the media nationwide to deliver outstanding media results for clients.
This position requires a of minimum of six years’ experience in public relations and a demonstrated ability to manage a number of senior level client accounts across a wide range of industries. Strong experience with corporate accounts will be a big plus, and a demonstrated ability to get exceptional media results for clients is a must. You will have excellent relations with the media nationwide and a proven ability to see and develop story angles where others may not.
You will have a very solid understanding of social media across a range of platforms and will be able to develop innovative and effective strategies that in turn you will know how to manage and implement for great results.
You will be exceptionally creative and will be capable of leading brainstorming sessions with the team, driving new ideas and thinking out of the box. You will know how to use your creativity to contribute significantly to the development of new business pitches, which you will also be able to pull together independently to support the more senior members of the team. You will be an ideas person that is aware of the latest methods and techniques that are open to the PR profession today.
You will have a bachelor’s degree or higher in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing or a similar relevant field and will be passionate about working in the industry.
Reporting directly to the Business Director, you will be able to work autonomously on accounts whilst also encouraging and helping develop the more junior members of the team.
You will have excellent verbal and writing skills and will be able to deliver a wide range of documents and writing styles.
Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure are also a must. You will be a people person with a ‘can do’ attitude who is a stickler for accuracy.
You will be a leader that is not afraid to take on new challenges and will work together with senior management to further grow the Brisbane office.

Salary guide $75,000 - $90,000 including superannuation, dependent on experience level.
